Apartment Community Groundskeeper

We’re seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain exterior cleanliness and the appearance of common areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain exterior common areas, including sidewalks, courtyards, parking lots, trash enclosures, and walkways
• Empty and clean trash and recycling areas; remove debris and litter from grounds
• Sweep and pressure-wash exterior surfaces and common areas as needed
• Perform basic exterior maintenance and repairs, including fencing, signage, trash cans, and lighting fixtures
• Operate and maintain non-landscaping equipment, such as pavement sweepers, blowers, and pressure washers
• Identify and report property hazards, damage, vandalism, and maintenance needs to management
• Assist with move-in and move-out cleanups, event setups, and special projects
• Follow property appearance, maintenance, and sustainability standards

Qualifications:

• One or more years of groundskeeping, maintenance, custodial, or general labor experience preferred
• Ability to operate relevant equipment properly and responsibly
• Basic handyman skills for light exterior repairs
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
