What Success Looks Like

On a day-to-day basis, success means arriving on time at residential job sites, prepared to tackle a variety of light remodeling and repair tasks. You will manage your time efficiently, keep your workspaces clean and safe, and interact warmly with clients to explain your process and answer their questions.

Over time, success in this role means becoming a trusted ally for our clients. You will consistently deliver high-quality craftsmanship, work independently to solve household maintenance challenges, and contribute to our reputation for reliability, honesty, and respect.

What You Bring to the Team

Must-Have Qualifications

• At least one year of paid, professional experience in home remodeling, general carpentry, or professional handyman services.
• Hands-on proficiency in at least three of the following areas: general carpentry, drywall repair and patching, tiling, flooring installation, bathroom upgrades, basic plumbing, basic electrical, or painting.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to treating clients, especially seniors and individuals with disabilities, with patience and dignity.
• The ability to work independently, troubleshoot on-site issues, and manage your daily task list effectively.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Prior experience performing senior home safety modifications, such as installing grab bars, handrails, or ramps.
• Advanced tiling or custom bathroom remodeling experience.
