What You’ll Do

As a Craftsman / Handyman, you will work independently at customers’ homes while receiving daily support from our back-office team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Arriving at scheduled appointments on time and prepared with the appropriate tools.

• Reviewing the scope of work with homeowners, discussing options, and setting clear expectations.

• Completing a variety of small-to-medium residential repair and maintenance projects.

• Performing work such as carpentry, drywall patching, door and window adjustments, and seasonal maintenance.

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful work area in customers’ homes.

• Documenting completed jobs through our mobile app for billing and communication purposes.

• Working with the dispatch team to support efficient scheduling and material sourcing.

• Building strong customer relationships that encourage repeat business.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in home improvement, residential maintenance, or a specific trade such as carpentry, remodeling, or drywall repair.

• Your own reliable vehicle capable of transporting tools and materials to job sites; truck or van preferred.

• A standard set of hand and power tools appropriate for residential repair work.

• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain repair processes to homeowners.

• Comfort using a smartphone or tablet for scheduling, job details, and communication.

Nice-to-Haves

• Broad multi-trade experience, including light plumbing, basic electrical troubleshooting, tiling, or similar work.

• Previous customer service or client-facing experience.

• Experience estimating job times and calculating material needs on-site.
