Floater Teacher (Infant–Pre-K)
We are seeking a caring, flexible, and enthusiastic Floater Teacher to join our early childhood team. This role supports classrooms across all age groups—from infants through Pre-K—and plays an important part in maintaining a consistent, nurturing, and engaging environment for our children.
The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys working with children of varying ages, and is excited to help children grow, learn, and build essential developmental skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support across multiple age groups, including infant, toddler, preschool, and Pre-K classrooms
- Follow established classroom routines, schedules, and daily plans
- Actively engage children in play-based, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Support children’s social-emotional development, independence, and skill-building
- Supervise and participate in daily short walks with our public school students, ensuring safety at all times
- Maintain a safe, clean, and positive learning environment
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with lead teachers and support staff to meet classroom needs
- Step in as needed to provide coverage, transitions, and additional classroom assistance
