What You'll Do

As a Home Service Technician, you'll perform a variety of residential repair and maintenance services while providing reliable, respectful, and professional customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform general home repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks with care and professionalism.

• Support home safety improvements and accessibility modifications for seniors aging in place.

• Provide dependable and respectful service to homeowners, families, and individuals.

• Apply hands-on experience in the following trades:

  • Carpentry and general woodworking

  • Drywall installation, repair, and finishing

  • Flooring installation and repairs

  • Interior and exterior painting

  • Basic plumbing repairs and installations

  • Basic electrical repairs and maintenance, where legally permitted

• Troubleshoot repair issues and identify appropriate solutions.

• Work independently while collaborating with the TruBlue team when needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Represent TruBlue as a professional, empathetic, and trustworthy Home Service Ally.

Who You Are

We're looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in their workmanship and genuinely cares about helping customers.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of paid professional experience in home repairs, handyman services, or residential maintenance.

• Practical experience in carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, basic plumbing, and electrical work.

• Strong commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and completing jobs correctly.

• Reliable, courteous, respectful, and professional in customer interactions.

• Ability to work independently, manage assigned tasks, and collaborate with a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Fluency in English for effective customer communication.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
