Now Hiring: Cannabis Laboratory Technician
Vangst is hiring on behalf of our client
Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes to turn raw cannabis into the polished, precise products on dispensary shelves? Our client is looking for a detail-driven Cannabis Laboratory Technician to be part of that process — handling everything from sample prep to final packaging, in a role where precision and consistency really matter.

If you love the idea of hands-on, science-adjacent work in a fast-growing industry, this is a great way in.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work with cannabis-derived materials — oils, flower, concentrates, diamonds, and more — preparing, blending, and homogenizing product according to established formulas and SOPs.

  • Fill, package, and label cannabis concentrates, cartridges, and other finished products
  • Prepare, store, and manage inventory, including materials kept in temperature-controlled freezer storage
  • Weigh, measure, blend, and process raw materials — flower, oils, concentrates, distillates, diamonds, and terpenes — to exact production specs
  • Follow batch records, formulations, and quality control procedures to keep every product consistent and compliant
  • Maintain accurate production, inventory, and batch documentation, including tracking and reconciliation in the Metrc seed-to-sale system
  • Perform routine quality control inspections and sample prep to catch potential issues early
  • Clean, sanitize, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment and workspaces to GMP standards
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, compliant workspace, including proper handling and disposal of cannabis waste

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Sharp attention to detail and a real commitment to quality
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Able to work independently and juggle multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and inventory management skills
  • Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to learn systems like Metrc
  • 21+ and able to obtain a cannabis agent badge approved by the state

Why You'll Like It Here

  • Hands-on, detail-oriented work in a growing, science-driven corner of the cannabis industry
  • No prior cannabis lab experience required — just precision, focus, and a willingness to learn
  • Join a team that takes quality and compliance seriously
