Staff Management | SMX is hiring Material Handlers for heavy Loading and Unloading for our premier client, Callaway Golf, a global leader in sporting goods. This is a great opportunity for long-term employment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Saturdays and Sundays may be required during peak season if scheduled

  • Hours may change due to mandatory overtime

  • Shifts range between 8–12 hours (10–12 hours during peak season)

  • Warehouse is not climate-controlled

Responsibilities

As a Loading and Unloading – Material Handler, you will:

  • Load and unload shipments including golf clubs, golf balls, and other golf equipment

  • Move goods, materials, and products on and off trucks, pallets, and transport equipment

  • Perform general labor and support multiple warehouse departments

  • Ensure accurate loading/unloading and identify potential issues through strong attention to detail

  • Follow warehouse safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment

  • Occasionally use an RF scanner to print, apply, and scan labels

  • Work as part of a team to achieve Distribution Center goals

  • Cross-train in other warehouse departments as needed

  • Complete other duties assigned to receive or process orders for shipment

Training is provided to all new associates.

Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Must take a background check

  • Must take a drug test

  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs repetitively

  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for the duration of a 12-hour shift

  • Must be able to read, count accurately, and follow directions in English

  • Must be able to read and understand English instructions for safety and training purposes

  • Must be willing to cross-train in other departments

  • Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled facility

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse or distribution experience
