The Role
As a Production Technician, you will help turn raw cannabis flower into finished products. You will work with a team to make, package, and label products while following safety rules and state regulations. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, and it’s important to pay attention to detail and work safely.
Responsibilities
Help make cannabis products by following clear instructions
Package and label products correctly
Follow all safety and state rules at all times
Check products for quality during the process
Keep your work area clean and organized
Track products in the state system using a computer
Work efficiently to meet daily production goals
Communicate with your team and supervisors
Help create a positive and respectful work environment
Complete other tasks as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or food production is helpful but not required
Cannabis experience is not required
Able to follow instructions and accept feedback
Able to work alone or with a team
Comfortable doing repetitive tasks
Basic computer and math skills
Strong attention to detail
Additional Requirements
Must be 21 years or older
Valid state ID or driver’s license required
Must pass a background check
Must be able to get and keep a state cannabis work badge
Working Conditions
Standing or sitting for long periods
Repetitive movements like bending and reaching
Lifting up to 50 pounds when needed
Working around strong smells and allergens like cannabis and tree nuts
