Production Associate

As a Production Associate at the Mars Petcare facility, you play a vital role in ensuring our products meet the high standards our customers expect. This role is the backbone of our operations, involving hands-on work to keep the production line moving safely and efficiently. What Success Looks Like

Your day-to-day responsibilities will center on the safe operation of production equipment and the careful handling of product materials. Success in this role means arriving on time, following safety protocols without exception, and maintaining a steady pace to meet daily production targets.

Over your first few months, you will:

• Learn the specific production workflow and quality standards required for our products.
• Develop proficiency in operating your assigned machinery or assembly station.
• Build strong communication habits with your team leads and fellow associates to ensure seamless shift handovers.
• Qualify for your first pay increase at the 90-day milestone by demonstrating reliability and competence in your tasks.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift consistently throughout your scheduled shift.
• A commitment to following all safety guidelines and wearing required protective equipment.
• Reliable transportation to get to the facility on time for your scheduled shift.
• Willingness to learn and follow detailed operational instructions.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or high-volume production environment.
• Comfort using basic handheld tools or machinery.

Pay and Shifts

We offer competitive hourly rates depending on your shift selection:

• 1st Shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm): $14.00/hr
• 2nd Shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm): $15.00/hr
• 3rd Shift (10:30 pm - 7:00 am): $14.50/hr
• Day Shift 12-hour (6:00 am - 6:30 pm): $14.00/hr
• Night Shift 12-hour (6:00 pm - 6:30 am): $14.50/hr

In addition to your starting rate, you are eligible for pay increases after 90 days and again at the 1-year mark, provided you meet our standard performance and attendance requirements.
