Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Overview


PCH Hotels & Resorts is seeking a detail-oriented and guest-focused Room Attendant to join the team at Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa, one of the premier resorts in central Alabama. Known as “The Castle,” this beautifully renovated property features expanded pool facilities, a world-class golf course, and over 25,000 square feet of event space hosting weddings, corporate meetings, and social events.

As a Room Attendant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms to brand and company standards

  • Replace linens and towels; make beds properly and consistently

  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms (shower, tub, toilet, mirrors, floors)

  • Vacuum, dust, clean inside drawers, and check under beds

  • Restock guest supplies and ensure proper placement of amenities

  • Inspect Vacant Maintenance (VM) and Vacant Ready (VR) rooms daily

  • Recheck rooms at departure and report room status for efficient turnover

  • Report maintenance needs promptly to Engineering or Housekeeping Supervisor

  • Enter guest rooms following proper procedures (knock and announce “Housekeeping”)

  • Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests

  • Report lost and found items in accordance with company policy

  • Remove room service trays and coordinate rollaway bed removal

  • Restock housekeeping cart and return keys/equipment at the end of the shift

  • Maintain the highest level of hospitality and professionalism

Requirements

  • Ability to bend, lift, push, and stand for extended periods

  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards

  • Excellent communication and guest service skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
