Start your new career as a Seasonal Part-Time Showroom Associate with MAU at Smithey Ironware in North Charleston, SC. As a Showroom Associate, you will deliver exceptional customer service, assist shoppers in selecting premium cast iron and carbon steel cookware, and create a welcoming retail experience while representing Smithey Ironware's commitment to quality and craftsmanship. This is a seasonal job opportunity.

What We Offer:
  • Pay Based on experience
  • Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
  • First Shift, Wednesday–Saturday, 12:00 PM–5:00 PM
  • Assignment Duration runs from November 2026–December 31, 2026
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous retail, hospitality, or face-to-face customer service experience, preferably in a premium or boutique retail environment
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Genuine interest in cooking, cast iron cookware, or craftsmanship, or a willingness to learn
  • Dependability, punctuality, and availability to work Saturdays
  • Comfort using an iPad-based point-of-sale (POS) system, such as Shopify
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle cookware throughout the shift
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and creating a positive shopping experience
What You’ll Do as a Showroom Associate:
  • Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming, engaging showroom experience
  • Assist shoppers in exploring Smithey Ironware's premium cast iron and carbon steel cookware collections
  • Share product knowledge, brand history, and craftsmanship details to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
  • Answer customer questions about cooking techniques, cookware seasoning, maintenance, and restoration
  • Recommend cookware products based on customer needs, preferences, and gift-giving occasions
  • Process customer purchases accurately using the Shopify point-of-sale system
  • Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing showroom
  • Represent Smithey Ironware's commitment to exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and customer hospitality in every interaction
