Title: Security Guard Critical Response Team

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $26.00 / hour
Site Overview
This role supports critical infrastructure protection and utility facilities across key operational locations. You will play an essential part in safeguarding high-profile laydown areas, construction sites, and specialized utility assets, helping maintain a safe and secure environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct proactive exterior patrols across facility grounds and laydown areas.
Protect critical infrastructure and project assets from theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
Manage access control points and verify entry credentials.
Detect, de-escalate, and report suspicious activities or security threats.
Respond promptly to security incidents and emergency situations.
Maintain detailed daily notebook entries and complete accurate incident reports.
Provide a visible, professional security presence at all times.
Must Haves
Valid BC Security Worker License
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver's abstract
Reliable personal transportation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, including during overnight shifts
Legal eligibility to work in Canada
Nice-to-Haves
Basic Security Training (BST) certification
Basic First Aid (BFA) certification
Previous mobile patrol experience
Prior security experience in military, law enforcement, or critical infrastructure environments
Experience working overnight security shifts
