Paladin Security is seeking dedicated Security Guards for our Healthcare Division to help maintain a safe, welcoming, and secure environment for patients, medical personnel, and visitors.
Healthcare security requires a balance of compassionate customer service and quick, level-headed problem-solving. In this full-time role, you will work a predictable 4-on, 4-off schedule consisting entirely of 12-hour night shifts (19:00 to 07:00). Supported by 24/7 leadership and extensive training, you will serve as a reassuring presence during fast-moving and sensitive situations.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means being a reliable, approachable guardian of health facilities. Day-to-day, you will safeguard people and property through vigilant patrols, proactive hazard identification, and calm communication.
Your core responsibilities include:
Managing access control for facility entrances, patient areas, and restricted zones.
Conducting regular interior and exterior patrols to identify security risks, safety hazards, mechanical issues, or policy violations.
Monitoring security systems and camera feeds, responding promptly to alarms and emergency calls for assistance.
Supporting clinical teams with patient safety observations while maintaining precise incident logs and reports.
Applying verbal de-escalation techniques to manage dynamic situations and de-escalate potential conflicts peacefully.
Providing compassionate, helpful service to visitors, staff, and patients navigating the facility.
Pay & Benefits
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.45 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 4-on / 4-off rotation, night shifts only (19:00 to 07:00)

Requirements (Must-Haves)
Security License: Current and valid Security Guard License.
First Aid: Valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certification.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Availability: Ability to work full-time 12-hour night shifts (19:00 to 07:00) on a 4-on, 4-off rotation.
Core Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to remain composed and empathetic under pressure.
Nice-to-Haves
Prior experience in security, customer service, healthcare, or first-responder environments.
Formal training in crisis intervention, de-escalation, or patient safety support.
