Site Overview
As a Security Guard, you will play an important role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and the public. This position involves regular patrols, responding to incidents, and providing excellent customer service.
Position Overview
Shifts Available: Mornings, Evenings, Overnights, and Weekends
Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Casual (based on availability)
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to maintain site safety.
Monitor access points and prevent unauthorized entry.
Respond professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns.
Handle difficult situations using effective communication and de-escalation techniques.
Assist staff, visitors, and members of the public when needed.
Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Must be at least 19 years of age
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
Comfortable with physical duties: standing, walking, sitting for extended periods. And working in extreme weather conditions
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Nice-to-Haves
Previous security or customer service experience.
MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) certification or willingness to complete company-sponsored training.
