About the Role:

Are you a numbers wizard who knows how to make them work? Do you have a healthy skepticism for regulatory overreach and a talent for finding “creative” interpretations of GAAP? If you can navigate the gray areas of compliance without turning red, we might have the perfect gig for you.

We’re seeking a Slightly Crooked Accountant — someone who isn’t afraid to color just a bit outside the lines. You’ll help us optimize, minimize, and (let’s be honest) occasionally “re-categorize” in pursuit of maximum financial flexibility.

What You’ll Do:

• Masterfully blur the lines between expense and investment

• Generate quarterly reports that tell the right story

• Handle offshore (and under-the-radar) asset management

• Create airtight paper trails… and plausible deniability

• Liaise with friendly auditors and, when necessary, less friendly ones

• Protect the organization with preemptive footnotes and legal disclaimers

Must-Haves:

• CPA or “equivalent” experience

• 7+ years of accounting, tax, or creative finance work

• Comfort operating in ambiguity and mild ethical discomfort

• Familiarity with shell companies, invoice inflation, and selective memory

• A sense of humor and a burner phone

Nice-to-Haves:

• Prior work with startups, shadowy nonprofits, or government contractors

• “Flexible” moral compass with a strong North Star of loyalty

• Experience testifying with immunity (just in case)

• Knows the difference between fraud and finesse
