Facility: Jackson-Madison County General Hospital
Setting: Hospital | Cardiac/Surgical/Telemetry Unit
Employment Type: Contract (Travel Only)
Shift: Nights | 12-hour shifts | 3 shifts/week
Hours: 36 hours/week
Pay Rate: ~$54/hour (feel like rate: $53.60/hour)
Weekly Pay: $1,930/week
Bonus: $200 Goodwork Bonus

Overview

Samba Traveler is seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel contract assignment in Jackson, TN at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. This role is on a busy cardiac/surgical/telemetry floor, and candidates should be comfortable with a fast-paced environment, floating as needed, and working night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care on a cardiac/surgical/telemetry unit

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition

• Administer medications, perform assessments, and document care accurately

• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary teams

• Float as needed to other Med-Surg/Tele units or low-acuity ICU

• Follow all hospital safety standards, policies, and clinical protocols

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Tennessee license required)

• PCU experience required

• Must have the following certifications:

  • AHA BLS

  • ACLS

  • NIHSS

• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts

• Comfortable floating to other units as needed
