Orchard is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a locum tenens opportunity in Florida. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call and no weekends, making it an excellent opportunity for providers looking for predictable hours while working in a dynamic surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for surgical procedures in both surgery center and hospital settings

• Monitor patients during anesthesia and manage medication levels as needed

• Provide safe and effective anesthesia care throughout the perioperative process

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility protocols

Case Mix

• Surgery Center: 100% Orthopedics

• Hospital Cases:

  • Orthopedics

  • General Surgery

  • GYN

  • GI

  • Urology

  • Podiatry

  • ENT

  • Neuro

Majority of cases: General Surgery and Orthopedics

Schedule Details

• Shift: 5x8 schedule

• Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Days: Monday – Friday

• Call: None

• Weekends: None

• Required Coverage: 20 shifts per month

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible

• Active Florida license required (facility is not willing to license)

• Ability to commit to 20 shifts per month

• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills

Credentialing

• Average credentialing timeline: Approximately 90 days
