About the Position

Ace Handyman Services Oklahoma City North is hiring professional Lead Carpenters, Handymen, and Craftsmen with multi-trade skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service.  You’ll support homeowners and businesses across Oklahoma City, Arcadia, Cashion, Edmond, Guthrie, Jones and Piedmont. As part of our team, you'll work on a wide range of residential repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects throughout the Oklahoma City area. We schedule the work—you focus on delivering outstanding results.

The right candidate for this role will have the ability to run medium-to-large projects and influence other TEAM members.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

• Complete each stage of our Service Path, from evening‑before calls through job completion

• Build trust through active listening

• Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout each project

• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction before leaving every job

Craftsmanship & Repair

• Perform a wide variety of residential and commercial repairs, maintenance, and small remodels to local and state code standards

• Complete carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tile installation, and flooring projects

• Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs

• Install fixtures, doors, trim, cabinets, and other finish carpentry items

• Troubleshoot repair issues and determine the best solutions

• Identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and aesthetics in our customers’ homes

• Shop for materials when needed to complete the job

• Maintain accurate job documentation and complete work efficiently while upholding high quality standards

Technology & Operations

• Use ServiceTitan for estimates, invoices, photos, and job documentation

• Assist with scheduling adjustments and operational logistics

• Provide insights that help improve processes and customer experience

• Attend TEAM meetings and ongoing training

What We’re Looking For

Professional Experience

• 8+ years of Craftsman or multi-trade experience

• A self‑starter with a hands‑on, problem‑solving mindset

• Reliable truck or van (company vehicle may be provided)

• Own a standard set of professional and essential hand and powered tools

• Strong knowledge across multiple trades, including carpentry, drywall, tile, painting, flooring, basic plumbing and basic electrical

• Experience estimating and leading projects and understanding common material costs

• Home inspection or estimating experience is a plus

• Professional appearance and conduct

• Lead Safe and other certifications and/or licenses are a plus

• Ability and desire to pass on knowledge to others

• Ability to influence other team members

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

• Strong verbal communication; confident, professional, and empathetic

• Curious and customer‑focused, with the ability to work independently

• Excellent active listening with the ability to ask good questions, understand customer needs, and provide effective solutions

Technical Skills

• Comfortable learning new software and processes

• ServiceTitan experience is a plus

Work Schedule

• Available Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Employment Requirements

• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and reference verification

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, climb, lift up to 50 lbs., work overhead, and safely operate tools
