<div><br /> <strong>Position Purpose</strong><br /> Is responsible for assisting airline customers that need wheelchair or baggage assistance getting from curbside to aircraft and vice versa . This position will assist other agents as needed to ensure safe operations for passengers and customers.<br /> <br /> <strong><u>Essential functions and basic duties</u> </strong> <ul> <li>Assist passengers needing wheelchair service getting to their flight, or off arriving aircraft</li> <li>Guide customers through ticketing and wayfinding in the airport terminal</li> <li>Checks facility cleanliness before and after operations</li> <li>Maintains security awareness and hazardous materials awareness appropriate to the airport aircraft environment.</li> <li>Other assignments and/or duties as directed.</li> </ul> <strong> WORKING CONDITIONS</strong><br /> Work in an indoor and outdoor environment; ability to work in adverse weather conditions. The worker is subject to fumes, odors, dusts, hot and cold climates, precipitation.<br /> <strong>Shift </strong>– Scheduled for shifts on a weekly basis during scheduled air carrier operations.<br /> <strong>Flooring </strong>– carpet and concrete surfaces.<br /> <strong>Lighting </strong>– variable, natural and artificial light.<br /> <strong>Temperature </strong>– variable environmental conditions based on the daily weather forecast. May be exposed to seasonal temperatures and precipitation, dust etc.<br /> <strong>Noise </strong>– subject to aircraft engine and equipment noise<br /> <strong>Safety equipment </strong>– gloves, and/or other personal protective equipment depending on job assignment, etc.<br /> <strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong>
