Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Shifts Available: 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, and 4th Shift
Scheduling: Rotating shifts and weekend availability required
Pay Frequency: Weekly

Overview

Staff Management | SMX is hiring Airport Warehouse Associates in Allentown, PA to support essential daily operations. This is a hands-on warehouse role where you will load and unload package containers, sort and scan packages, and help prepare containers for outbound flights. Schedule & Pay

4th Shift (Overnight): 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
3rd Shift (Overnight): 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM
2nd Shift: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM

Pay Rate: $19.75/hour

Responsibilities

As an Airport Warehouse Associate, you will:

  • Load and unload package containers, moving packages by hand and pushcart from warehouse to truck

  • Build up package containers ready for outbound flights

  • Break down package containers from arriving flights

  • Sort, scan, and move packages within the warehouse

  • Operate package handling equipment such as pallet jacks

  • Check air express containers for correct piece count, weight, dimensions, and required documents

  • Follow air safety and security guidelines while maintaining a safe work environment

Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • High School Diploma, GED, or international equivalent required

  • Must take a background check

  • Must take a drug test

  • Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English

  • Must be able to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings (with or without visual aids)

  • Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays

  • Peak season (November–December) may require longer hours

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in a similar role (preferred but not required)
