Requirements / Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting cannabis products that best meet their needs and preferences
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, including strains, consumption methods, and legal guidelines
- Comply with all local and state regulations regarding cannabis sales and handling
- Manage inventory and ensure products are properly labeled and displayed
- Handle cash register operations and process sales transactions accurately
- Provide a safe, welcoming, and informative environment for all customers
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Prior experience working as a Budtender or in retail sales within the cannabis industry is preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods
- Ability to adhere to legal and safety compliance standards
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in related fields is a plus
- Must be at least the minimum legal age as required by local laws
- Reliable and trustworthy with a professional attitude
Job Details / Duties
- Greet customers upon entry and provide product recommendations based on individual needs
- Educate customers on product effects, dosages, and safe usage practices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and storage areas
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking orders as needed
- Assist with product sampling events and promotional activities
- Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory requirements including age verification
