Requirements / Responsibilities

- Assist customers by providing advice on meat cuts and cooking methods.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or quality issues.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a butcher or in meat processing preferred.
- Knowledge of meat cuts, trimming techniques, and safety standards.
- Ability to operate cutting machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification.

- Cutting carcasses into retail and bulk cuts following specific guidelines.
- Weighing, labeling, and packaging meat products accurately.
- Checking the quality and freshness of incoming meats.
- Cleaning knives, cutting tables, and equipment between tasks.
- Supporting inventory management through regular stock checks.
- Adhering to sanitation and safety protocols throughout the shift.
- Providing excellent customer service while addressing inquiries and special requests.
