Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to support our cannabis kitchen and production team. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility, including washing dishes, utensils, trays, equipment, and production tools used in cannabis manufacturing and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, trays, containers, and production equipment
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, production, and common work areas
Follow all sanitation, safety, and compliance procedures
Properly handle cleaning chemicals and sanitation supplies
Assist with waste removal and organization of supplies
Keep sinks, floors, and dishwashing areas clean and organized
Support production and kitchen teams with general cleaning tasks as needed
Follow all state compliance and facility SOPs related to cannabis operations
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding cleaning needs or equipment issues
Qualifications
Previous dishwasher, janitorial, kitchen, or production cleaning experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Comfortable working around cannabis products in a regulated facility
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to regularly bend, twist, reach, and move throughout the facility
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Comfortable performing repetitive cleaning tasks in a production environment
Schedule & Environment
May include weekends, overtime, or varying shifts depending on production needs
PPE may be required and will be provided by the client/facility
Work is performed in a production or kitchen environment with exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, and cannabis products
