Position Overview
We are seeking two dependable and detail-oriented Extraction Technicians to join our cannabis processing facility in Clackamas. This role will primarily support extraction operations utilizing Luna Technologies extraction equipment while also assisting with post-processing, gramming, filling, packaging, and overall production support within a regulated cannabis manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting, follows compliance procedures closely, and takes pride in producing high-quality cannabis products with accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Extraction Support
Assist with daily cannabis extraction operations utilizing Luna Technologies extraction systems
Support extraction setup, operation, monitoring, and breakdown procedures under leadership guidance
Prepare biomass and materials for extraction processing
Monitor extraction workflows and report any equipment, quality, or safety concerns to leadership
Maintain clean and organized extraction workspaces and equipment
Production & Packaging
Gram, weigh, and portion cannabis concentrates and finished products accurately according to SOPs and compliance standards
Fill cartridges, jars, containers, or other cannabis packaging formats as assigned
Assist with labeling, sealing, packaging, and staging finished products for inventory or distribution
Maintain strict strain separation and product accuracy throughout all production stages
Ensure all packaging and labeling meets regulatory and company standards
Compliance & Quality Control
Follow all Oregon cannabis regulations, facility SOPs, and safety protocols
Maintain accurate tracking and documentation throughout extraction and packaging processes
Adhere to sanitation standards and assist with routine cleaning of equipment and production areas
Monitor product quality and consistency throughout processing and packaging workflows
Assist with inventory handling and material organization as needed
Qualifications
Previous cannabis extraction, processing, manufacturing, packaging, or production experience preferred
Experience working with extraction equipment or regulated production environments is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and compliance requirements
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment
Ability to handle repetitive production tasks while maintaining consistency and accuracy
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
Willingness to learn extraction processes and cannabis manufacturing operations
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout shifts
Frequent repetitive hand movements and fine motor tasks
Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working in manufacturing and extraction environments with cannabis odors, machinery, and varying temperatures
Ability to bend, twist, crouch, and move throughout production areas regularly
Schedule & Work Environment
Full-time schedule with possible overtime based on production demands
Fast-paced cannabis extraction and manufacturing environment
PPE may be required and provided by the facility
