Garden Worker Position Summary
We are hiring a Garden Worker with a focus on Vegetative (VEG) plant care, while also supporting the flower rooms as needed. This is a hands-on role with variable daily workloads — some days may involve as little as 1 hour of work, while other days may require full 8-hour shifts, depending on plant cycles and operational needs. This position is ideal for someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and takes personal accountability for their work.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily plant care in the vegetative stage, including cloning, transplanting, feeding, pruning, training, and general maintenance
Prepare plants for transition into flower by ensuring consistency, cleanliness, and plant health
Support flower rooms as needed with trellising, defoliation, harvesting, and room resets
Maintain clean, organized workspaces through detailed cleaning and sanitation
Monitor plant health and immediately report pests, disease, nutrient deficiencies, or stress
Follow all SOPs, safety protocols, and state cannabis regulations
Demonstrate self-accountability by completing tasks thoroughly, communicating issues, and maintaining high standards without constant supervision
Qualifications
Must be 21 years or older with valid government-issued ID
Eligible to work in the cannabis industry under state regulations (no disqualifying convictions)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures, humidity, and lighting
Highly detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to clean and maintain organized workspaces
Cannabis cultivation or agricultural experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
