Handyman / Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Handyman / Craftsman to join our team. In this role, you will help homeowners and commercial customers maintain, repair, and improve their properties. This position is ideal for an experienced trade professional who loves working with their hands and solving practical problems, but wants to leave the hassles of running a business behind. We handle the marketing, scheduling, customer service, and billing, allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

What Success Looks Like

Your success is measured by the quality of your work and the satisfaction of our customers. Here is what you can expect:

• Day-to-day: You will travel to scheduled appointments in your local area, evaluate project requirements, and complete small-to-medium home repairs. This includes tasks like carpentry, drywall repairs, light plumbing, electrical fixture installations, and general home maintenance. You will communicate clearly with customers about the progress of their projects and ensure their homes are left clean and tidy.
• Over time: You will build trust within the community, earning positive customer reviews and repeat business. You will work closely with our dispatch office to manage your schedule efficiently and maintain a safe, productive working environment.

What We Are Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in home maintenance, remodeling, or residential construction.
• A strong working knowledge of multiple trades, such as carpentry, drywall, tiling, painting, and basic plumbing or electrical work.
• Your own set of standard hand and power tools appropriate for residential repair work.
• A valid driver's license and a reliable, clean vehicle (such as a truck, SUV, or utility van) capable of transporting tools and materials.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, respectful demeanor when interacting with customers.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience estimating materials and time requirements for small-scale projects.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing service role.
• Familiarity using smart devices (phones or tablets) for scheduling and dispatch applications.
