Overview

We are looking for a skilled Craftsman / Handyman to join our team at Ace Handyman Services RVA in Richmond, Virginia. This role exists to provide local homeowners with reliable, high-quality home repairs, maintenance, and light remodeling. If you are a trades professional who loves hands-on work but is tired of the hassle of chasing leads, bidding on jobs, and managing billing, this position is designed for you. We handle all the scheduling, marketing, and administrative work so you can focus entirely on your craft and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Compensation: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
A good overall knowledge of all trades:

• Plumbing

• Carpentry

• Tile

• Electrical

• Drywall repair

• Deck and fence repairs

• Painting

• Proper Equipment:

• Not necessarily having every tool, but knowing what tools are needed for certain tasks.

Troubleshooting Skills:
Must be a quick thinker, have the ability to be able to examine a problem situation and come up with a resolution in a prompt and professional manner.

Excellent Communication Skills:
Must be able to communicate with Management, Office Personnel, Fellow Employees, Homeowners, Suppliers, Property Managers and Commercial Customers.

Presentable:
Clean-Cut appearance
Decent looking vehicle
Organized tools

Other:
Look around customers property and communicate things you could repair or things that our company can address.
Takes time to earn the customer’s confidence and then inquires about additional work that could be performed.
Taking the time to address small repairs, then point out additional items to the customer to help them understand that we are capable of doing more.
Someone who is punctual, efficient and maintains the highest integrity and strives for top customer satisfaction.
