$25 - $30/hour + performance bonuses

This is a full-time W-2 position with a locally owned Ace Handyman Services franchise serving Monroe, Ontario, and Yates County areas. We’re part of a national brand, but the owner lives here, works out of the Penn Yan office — not in another state watching a dashboard.

Monday through Friday. Home for dinner. Weekends off.

What you’ll do

•      Complete residential and light commercial repair, maintenance, and improvement jobs — typically 1 to 3 per day

•      Work across multiple trades: carpentry, drywall, painting, tile, doors, windows, trim, decks, and light plumbing and electrical

•      Talk with customers directly — explain the work, answer questions, and flag other needs they may not have thought of

•      Log your time and materials accurately in ServiceTitan (you will be trained how to use) on a company-provided device

•      Represent the Ace brand in people’s homes: on time, clean job site, clear communication

What we’re looking for

•      A successful prior track record as a handyman or across multiple trades with minimum 3 years of hands-on experience.

•      Your own standard set of hand and power tools

•      Current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

•      If a company vehicle is not available, a truck or van suitable for transporting tools and materials

•      Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving instincts

•      Professional appearance and demeanor, and genuinely good with people — our customers invite you into their homes, and repeat business depends on how you treat them

•      Able to lift 50lbs and work comfortably on ladders

•      Willing and able to pass a background check
