Harvest & Deleaf Technician (Cannabis Production)
Position Summary:
The Harvest & Deleaf Technician supports the post-harvest process by assisting with plant harvesting and removing excess fan leaves to prepare cannabis plants for trimming, drying, and curing. This role is critical to maintaining product quality and ensuring efficient production workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with harvesting cannabis plants, including cutting and handling plants with care
Remove fan leaves (deleafing) to prepare plants for trimming and drying
Hang or rack plants according to facility procedures
Maintain product quality by following proper handling and sanitation practices
Follow all SOPs, safety guidelines, and state compliance regulations
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Work efficiently to meet daily production goals
Assist with additional post-harvest tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Previous cannabis, agriculture, or production experience preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Must be 21+ and able to obtain required state cannabis badges/licenses
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs
Ability to perform repetitive tasks using hands and fingers
Comfortable working in a cultivation or production environment
