Now Hiring: Edible Kitchen Production Team | $20/hr
Staffed by Vangst, on behalf of our client
Love the idea of working somewhere that's actually going places? Our client is one of the fastest-growing names in cannabis cultivation and manufacturing, with operations in 8+ states and no signs of slowing down. They're looking to add hands-on, detail-driven people to their edible kitchen team — no cannabis experience required, just a strong work ethic, experience within a kitchen setting  and a willingness to learn.

This is a great entry point into the cannabis industry, with real opportunity to grow as the company expands.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be part of the gummies production line, helping turn raw ingredients into finished, ready-to-ship product — think prepping, cooking, and bottling cannabis-infused candies in a clean, fast-paced kitchen environment.

  • Assemble, track, and accurately weigh materials and supplies on the production line
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, flagging any repairs or certifications needed
  • Keep the kitchen, storerooms, and workspaces spotless and organized
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and keep accurate training and production records
  • Stay on top of inventory — plant materials, chemicals, and equipment — and log everything accurately
  • Adjust recipes/formulations using strong math skills, and flag issues before they become problems
  • Handle and dispose of chemicals, cannabis, and hazardous waste safely and compliantly
  • Use Metrc, Leaf Logix, and basic Microsoft Office tools to stay on top of the details

What We're Looking For

  • HS diploma or GED
  • Kitchen or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
  • Comfortable on your feet, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasionally carrying hot liquids up to 35 lbs
  • Someone who takes food safety, cleanliness, and compliance seriously
  • Ability to pass all required state and company background screening requirements in accordance with New Jersey cannabis regulations.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain any required New Jersey cannabis industry credentials or registrations.

Why You'll Like It Here

  • $20/hour starting pay
  • Join a company with a growing, multi-state footprint — real room to build a career, not just a job
  • Hands-on training, no prior cannabis experience needed
  • In-person, full-time schedule in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
