Requirements / Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all local and state food safety regulations.
- Handle food in a manner that prevents contamination and ensures customer safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation and service areas.
- Inspect food and equipment for cleanliness and proper handling and storage.
- Monitor food storage temperatures and rotate stock according to safety guidelines.
- Report any signs of food contamination or safety hazards promptly.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Food Handler’s License for the state of Nevada.
- Previous experience in a food handling or food service role preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry out physical tasks related to food handling.
