- 5+ years of related experience OR
- 2+ years of technical education in drafting or engineering (or an equivalent combination)
- Training in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Strong mathematical and measurement conversion skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience operating woodworking tools and machinery
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and strong teamwork abilities
- Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe work environment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Calculate and convert drawing dimensions for foundry specifications
- Construct patterns and support equipment from engineered designs
- Perform dimensional layouts for equipment inspections
- Operate woodworking equipment, including saws, lathes, drills, sanders, and planers
- Inspect patterns to ensure they meet engineering and foundry standards
- Report equipment maintenance needs and assist in quality assurance
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and recommend process improvements
