Overview
Acara Solutions is seeking a motivated Project Manager to support project delivery within the banking industry. In this role, you will work under the guidance of senior project managers to coordinate and manage multiple small projects from initiation through completion.
This position is ideal for professionals with experience in project analysis, project coordination, or general management who are looking to grow their career in project management within a structured corporate environment.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple small projects under the direction of a senior project manager
Develop and maintain project plans, forecasts, and schedules
Gather project requirements through planning sessions, brainstorming, and stakeholder discussions
Define project scope, objectives, assumptions, and constraints
Create structured plans including work breakdown structures, budgets, resource plans, and communication plans
Monitor project progress and track performance using project management tools
Identify and manage scope changes, schedule updates, and budget adjustments
Implement risk mitigation strategies and escalate issues when necessary
Communicate project plans and progress with stakeholders and project team members
Support larger initiatives while ensuring smaller assigned projects are completed successfully
Maintain compliance with risk management and regulatory standards
Promote a collaborative environment that supports teamwork and diversity
Lead or coordinate project team members and monitor quality of work
Requirements
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 4 years of professional experience
At least 2 years of experience in project management, project analysis, or general management
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience working with project management tools and software
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience managing stakeholders and coordinating cross-functional teams
