Start your new career as a Reach Truck Operator with MAU at Giti Tire in Richburg, SC. As a Reach Truck Operator, you’ll safely move, store, and track materials throughout the warehouse. With yard jockey experience, you can also take on yard switching at a higher rate.

What We’re Looking For: 

• High school diploma or GED 
• At least 6 months of reach truck experience 
• Yard jockey (yard switching) experience is preferred, not required. It qualifies you for yard switching hours at $24.00 per hour. 
• Stable work history 
• Strong communication, writing, and math skills 
• Ability to lift 55 - 65 pounds repeatedly 
• Availability to work 8- to 12-hour shifts on days or nights 
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed 

What You’ll Do as a Reach Truck Operator: 

• Spend about 90% of your time on reach truck work and about 10% on yard switching, based on Giti Tire’s needs (yard switching is for operators with yard jockey experience) 
• Complete daily forklift inspections 
• Pick, store, and verify pallets using the warehouse management system (WMS) 
• Load, unload, and complete off-loads of pallets and poles 
• Supply and remove empty or partial pallets and poles 
• Consolidate and relocate pallets 
• Change forklift batteries as needed 
• Keep inventory accurate and make sure storage bins are available 
• Keep your work area clean and organized 
• Follow all safety procedures and help with other tasks as assigned
