Sales Support Representative
Apply to JobSales Support Representative - Portland
Are you a detail-oriented problem-solver with a knack for organization and a passion for supporting a dynamic sales team? We're seeking a Sales Support Representative in Portland to be the operational backbone for our sales efforts. In this role, you'll empower our sales professionals to focus on building client relationships by expertly managing the critical administrative and logistical tasks behind the scenes. If you thrive on making things run smoothly, ensuring accuracy, and proactively solving challenges, this is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on our success.
What You'll Do & How You'll Succeed
As a Sales Support Representative, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our sales pipeline flows efficiently and our customer data remains precise. Your success will be measured by your ability to:
- Master our CRM: You'll navigate platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics with ease, ensuring accurate lead routing and precise tracking of deals through every pipeline stage from "Lead" to "Closed-Won."
- Ensure Data Integrity: Meticulously enter and maintain contract terms, pricing details, and customer contact information, knowing that accuracy is paramount for our business operations.
- Streamline Sales Operations: Handle the "unhappy" side of sales with empathy and patience, troubleshooting billing discrepancies, tracking shipping delays, and helping overcome client onboarding hurdles.
- Translate Needs into Action: Actively listen to a salesperson's urgent request and translate it into a structured, prioritized task, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Create Clear Communications: Represent our brand professionally through clear, concise written communication in emails and other follow-ups.
- Solve Problems Proactively: When a discount code isn't working or a system glitch appears, you'll take initiative to troubleshoot the logic and find solutions rather than waiting for others.
- Manage Urgency: Prioritize critical "end-of-quarter" tasks and urgent requests without breaking a sweat, ensuring timely support for the sales team.
- Support Reporting & Presentations: Utilize advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) for sales reporting and create professional slide decks in PowerPoint that clearly communicate key information.
