Start your new career as a Saw Operator with MAU at Energy Hardware in Greer, SC. As a Saw Operator, you will cut and prepare materials accurately and efficiently while supporting warehouse operations to meet customer deadlines and quality standards. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools such as calipers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Previous experience operating saws or chamfering machines is a plus but not required
• Forklift certification and knowledge of safety regulations is a plus
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels

What You’ll Do as a Saw Operator:

• Operate saws and chamfering machines while following safety protocols and best practices
• Interpret work orders and blueprints to determine cutting specifications
• Set up equipment using fixtures and stops to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime
• Group work orders by diameter to minimize setup changes and increase productivity
• Prioritize urgent orders while maintaining consistent quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and fixtures
• Perform basic equipment maintenance as needed
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely
• Follow all safety guidelines and report concerns or incidents to leadership immediately
