Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 07:00 - 19:00
Overtime Methodology: Averaging Agreement
Site Overview
Holland Cross is a active commercial complex featuring retail spaces, office towers, and an attached parking garage. It provides a structured, professional environment where security guards interact daily with tenants, visitors, and corporate staff.
What You'll Be Doing
Maintain the safety and security of the complex, tenants, and visitors in accordance with site Post Orders.
Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the retail sections, office towers, and attached parking facility.
Monitor CCTV cameras and engage professionally with tenants and visitors.
Complete required shift paperwork, daily logs, and incident reports accurately.
Operate the site computer to perform administrative duties and maintain logs.
Must Haves
Valid Ontario Security Guard License
Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent
Legal authorization to work in Canada
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Ability to work independently and complete extensive standing and walking duties
Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) and Use of Force certification (Paladin can provide this on a 6-month commitment contract upon onboarding)
Nice-to-Haves
Previous experience in retail or commercial security
Intermediate computer proficiency, including experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
