Key Responsibilities
Patrol campus grounds, aviation hangars, and specialized facilities
Respond to incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies
Provide excellent customer service to a tight-knit academic community
Support enforcement of campus policies and event safety
Work closely with airport facilities staff on campus concerns and flight lines
Emergency response for small aircraft emergency landing and liaising with local authorities
Qualifications
Ontario Security Guard License
WSIB Approved Standard First Aid/CPR C
Strong communication skills and an upbeat, professional attitude
Experience in technical or industrial security is an asset
Prior post-secondary or healthcare security experience an asset
Professional, adaptable attitude
Must not be a current Seneca student at Peterborough
Legally Authorized to work in Canada
Valid Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certifications (or willingness to complete Paladin's free certification program prior to onboarding).
