Location: Dayton, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st & 2nd Shift (Overtime & Weekends Required)
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Overview

Staff Management | SMX is hiring experienced Stand-Up Pacer Forklift Equipment Drivers to support operations for SIMOS Insourcing Solutions at a major distribution center in Dayton, NJ. This is a great opportunity for skilled equipment operators looking to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with steady hours, weekly pay, and long-term stability.

Important: Candidates must have at least 1 year of Stand-Up Pacer/Turret forklift experience — applications without this experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Stand-Up Pacer, Turret, and forklift equipment safely and efficiently

  • Use RF scanners (LRT/RF gun) for inventory tracking

  • Move cartons and materials to designated dock doors

  • Read and interpret labels (door numbers and location codes)

  • Perform general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and prepping orders

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Assist with manual tasks including bending, twisting, lifting, and lumping

  • Follow all safety procedures and operational standards

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Minimum 1 year of Stand-Up Pacer or Turret forklift experience (required)

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs individually and up to 150 lbs with assistance

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (8-hour shifts)

  • Ability to perform physical tasks (reaching, twisting, squatting, bending)

  • Must take a background check and drug test

  • Ability to read and understand numbers, labels, and instructions

  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends

Available Shifts

  • 1st Shift:

    • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    • Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

  • 2nd Shift:

    • Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
