SUMMARY Make local, multi-stop deliveries of food and supplies to restaurant and foodservice customers. Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer, unload temperature-controlled freight, provide strong customer service at each stop, and return home daily.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 60% Delivery and Execution Complete daily local, multi-stop delivery routes to foodservice customers. Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer and follow all DOT regulations. Unload and stage temperature-controlled product using a liftgate and hand truck. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate ELD logs. Provide professional customer service and resolve delivery issues at the stop. Maintain product integrity across refrigerated and frozen loads. 20% Learning Actively seeks ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels. DIRECT MANAGER / DIRECT REPORTS This position typically reports to Transportation Supervisor or Delivery Manager. This position has 0 Direct Reports.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Daily local delivery routes; home daily.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Extended periods of driving and sitting, with frequent loading and unloading requiring lifting up to [char substitution removed]-[char substitution removed] lbs, climbing, and bending.

WORKING CONDITIONS Primarily on the road and at delivery sites in varying weather and traffic conditions, with some time spent at a distribution facility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A. Clean driving record and current DOT medical certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of commercial driving experience. Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. Current DOT medical certification. Ability to lift and maneuver product up to [char substitution removed] lbs repeatedly. Experience with multi-stop local delivery. Foodservice or food-distribution delivery experience. Refrigerated (reefer) and liftgate experience. Strong customer-service track record. No preventable accidents or major violations.

MINIMUM EDUCATION High school diploma or GED equivalent.
