Schedule: Full-Time | 1st & 2nd Shift (Overtime & Weekends Required)
Pay Rate: $15.92/hour

Overview

Staff Management | SMX is hiring Warehouse Lumper Associates to support operations for SIMOS Insourcing Solutions at a major distribution center in Dayton, NJ. This is a physically active role ideal for individuals with warehouse experience who are comfortable handling heavy materials in a fast-paced environment.

This position offers weekly pay, benefits, and long-term stability with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks with bulk products (“lumping”)

  • Stack, sort, and palletize cartons based on SKU and order requirements

  • Read labels and paperwork to ensure accurate loading and placement

  • Use RF scanners (LRT/RF gun) for tracking and operations

  • Push and pull carts up to 100 lbs independently

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

  • Inspect and pack merchandise for shipment

  • Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures

  • Work in a high-traffic, non-climate-controlled environment

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Ability to lift 70 lbs individually and up to 150 lbs with a team

  • Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, twisting, squatting)

  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift

  • Must take a background check and drug test

  • Ability to read and understand labels, instructions, and paperwork

  • Previous warehouse or similar experience preferred (up to 1 year)

  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends

  • Must follow strict safety policies (no cellphone use on warehouse floor)

Available Shifts

  • 1st Shift:

    • Tuesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

    • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    • Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

  • 2nd Shift:

    • Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
