Shifts Available: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, Day Shift, Night Shift

Overview

The Staff Management | SMX team located in Pittsburgh, PA, is currently seeking Packaging/Palletizing candidates to join the production team at Tandem Foods. In this role, you will be responsible for packing, palletizing, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is an essential position that requires a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining safety standards.

Schedule & Pay

Monday – Friday

1st / A Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM — $16.63/hour
2nd / B Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM — $17.63/hour
3rd / C Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM — $17.63/hour
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM — $16.63/hour
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM — $17.63/hour

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Packaging Associate, you will:

  • Prepare and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring items are correctly sorted, labeled, and packaged for shipment.

  • Sort, label, and package items based on production requirements

  • Lift, carry, and stack 10-20 lb boxes, often picking up 2-3 boxes at a time and placing them onto pallets.

  • Properly stack pallets to ensure safe and organized shipping of products.

  • Wrap finished pallets securely for shipment

  • Perform routine checks to ensure product quality and accuracy

  • Maintain a fast-paced work environment while meeting production goals and deadlines.

  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift

Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Must take a background check

  • Must take a drug test

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English

  • Must be able to lift, carry, and stack boxes weighing 10–20 lbs consistently

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets

  • Must have physical stamina to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods

  • Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus.

  • Ability to lift, carry, and stack boxes weighing 10-20 lbs consistently.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
