Budtender - Part Time - New York

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with outstanding customer service skills to join our team as Budtenders. The ideal candidates will bring a positive energy to the workplace, ensuring that every customer interaction leaves a lasting impression. Budtenders will work closely with a diverse range of customers, providing guidance and assistance in selecting products that meet their needs.

Our Client is a high-end dispensary located in Grand Central Station, committed to providing a classy and professional experience for our customers. Schedule:  

Friday-Sunday
(Openers rotate every shift)
Opener 10:00 am- 7:00 pm
Day Team 11:00 am- 8:00 pm
Closer 12:000 pm- 9:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring each customer feels valued and well-assisted.
• Educate customers on different cannabis products, including strains, methods of consumption, and effects.
• Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions based on their preferences and needs.
• Operate the POS system efficiently, processing transactions accurately and maintaining an organized workspace.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of current inventory and product availability.
• Uphold compliance with all state regulations and company policies regarding the sale of cannabis products.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a retail or hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Compensation:
$20-23 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
