What You'll Be Doing
Conducting proactive and reactive foot patrols across the site to ensure property security.
Managing access control into the building and monitoring surveillance systems.
Preventing trespassing and loitering on site grounds.
De-escalating situations, investigating routine incidents, and maintaining safety.
Writing clear, detailed incident reports.
Intervening in medical emergencies when required.
Liaising with emergency responders, client representatives, and management.
Must Haves
Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
Valid Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, and AED certification from a WSIB-approved vendor.
Proof of immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, COVID-19, and two-step TB Skin test.
Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) certifications (or willingness to opt into Paladin's free pre-onboarding training with a 6-month commitment).
Ability to complete extensive foot patrols and stand for up to 12 hours per shift.
Strong oral and written English communication skills.
Successful completion of onboarding and site-specific training.
Legal authorization to work in Canada.
Nice-to-Haves
6 months of previous customer service experience.
