About the Role

As an Office Assistant/CSR, you are the voice of our office and the primary connection between our community and our skilled Craftsmen. Homeowners call us when they need help maintaining, repairing, and improving their homes, and you are the reassuring, organized professional who helps them get those projects completed. This onsite, full-time role exists to ensure our customers receive helpful service from their very first call, while keeping our craftsmen's schedules organized and productive.

If you enjoy solving puzzles, helping people, and keeping daily operations running smoothly behind the scenes, this position offers a stable, supportive environment where your work directly impacts the local community every day.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success is about clear communication, accurate scheduling, and attention to detail. On a typical day, you will:

  • Answer incoming calls: Listen actively to homeowners describing their home repair needs, answer their questions with confidence, and guide them toward the right solutions.

  • Book and schedule jobs: Coordinate the schedules of our Craftsmen, matching the right skills to the right projects to ensure efficient travel times and well-managed workdays.

  • Manage invoicing: Process payments, send out accurate invoices, and update our internal database to keep our financial records in order.

  • Support the team: Act as the central communication hub between customers in the field and the technicians on the road, resolving minor scheduling conflicts or changes calmly and quickly.

Over time, you will master our scheduling software, develop a strong understanding of home improvement timelines, and build lasting relationships with repeat customers who trust us to care for their homes.

What You Bring to the Team

We do not expect you to know how to repair a home yourself, but we do need you to be organized, empathetic, and eager to learn.

Must-have requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, professional telephone presence.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, like talking on the phone while typing notes, without losing track of details.

  • Comfortable using computers, internet browsers, and basic software programs (we will train you on our specific scheduling and invoicing systems).

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality for onsite shifts at our Tremonton office.

  • A problem-solving mindset and a genuine desire to help customers find solutions.

Nice-to-have qualities:

  • Prior experience in a customer service, dispatch, or office administration role.

  • Basic familiarity with home maintenance, hardware, or construction terms (helpful, but not required).

  • Experience with digital calendar management or scheduling software.
