Pay Rate: $19.06/hr
Site: Toyotetsu Canada Inc., Simcoe
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday (19:00 - 07:00)
Overtime Methodology: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
Site Overview
Toyotetsu Canada Inc. is an automotive parts manufacturing facility located in Simcoe, Ontario. This active industrial facility requires security coverage to maintain safe operations, protect assets, and respond effectively to site incidents during weekend shifts.
What You'll Be Doing
Perform proactive and reactive security patrols across the facility.
Respond promptly and safely to routine incidents, site emergencies, and call-outs.
Investigate everyday incidents and write clear, concise, and legible reports.
Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with staff, visitors, and contractors.
Maintain composure and manage pressure during unexpected situations or emergencies.
Communicate operational issues or safety concerns promptly to the Operations Manager.
Must Haves
Valid Ontario Security Guard license.
Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification.
Certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB).
Legal authorization to work in Canada.
Reliable transportation to and from the site in Simcoe, ON.
Strong communication skills with basic computer proficiency.
Ability to meet physical demands, including walking, standing, climbing stairs, pushing a minimum of 25 lbs, and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Knowledge of relevant federal, provincial, and municipal laws and bylaws.
Proven track record of punctuality, reliability, tact, and diplomacy.
